AET - AWARD IN EDUCATION AND TRAINING

As an AET assessor, you play a vital role in the education and training sector by ensuring that learners receive fair and accurate assessments, allowing them to achieve their learning goals. This course will take 6 to 12 weeks to complete from start to finish. Throughout this course, you will delve into various aspects of assessment, including assessment methods, principles of assessment, and the importance of maintaining quality assurance. You will explore different assessment techniques, such as observations, questioning, and written assignments, and learn how to effectively use these methods to gather evidence of learner achievement. In addition to technical skills, this course will also focus on the importance of creating an inclusive and supportive learning environment. You will develop strategies to engage and motivate learners, manage assessment processes, and provide constructive feedback that promotes learner development.

Our experienced instructors will guide you through engaging lessons, 1-2-1 tutor support, and realistic working experience, enabling you to apply your knowledge in authentic assessment scenarios. You will have the opportunity to collaborate with fellow learners, share experiences, and learn from diverse perspectives. 

The Level 3 Award in Education and Training is an introduction to teaching that will give an insight into the roles, responsibilities and relationships in education and training, how to plan and deliver inclusive teaching sessions and how to assess and give constructive feedback.
