The QA Level 2 Award in Fire Safety (QCF) is an Ofqual regulated and nationally recognised qualification that has been specifically designed for anyone who has a specific responsibility for fire safety in the workplace, such as designated fire wardens/fire marshals.
The Fire Stopping Inspection Course is available to anyone who wishes to have a greater knowledge of fire stopping, linear gap seals and cavity barriers. The course provides a comprehensive level of knowledge in fire stopping specification, installation, inspection and maintenance and repair.

WHAT TO EXPECT DURING YOUR COURSE

An onsite observation where your assessor watches you work.

Your assessor may also ask you to visually demonstrate the app or database that you use to log your work.

Photographs or videos of work you have completed.

Your assessor will advise you on best practice for capturing evidence this way.
DURATION
Complete your NVQ in 4 – 8 weeks
CSCS CARD
Must complete a GQA Health and Safety Test or have completed a CITB health and safety in order to qualify for a CSCS card. Apply for your Blue CSCS Card when you finish your NVQ (You must also have an in-date HS&E test to apply for your card).
